Mice can be recovered from cryopreserved embryos by embryo transfer of the thawed embryos into the oviducts or uteruses of pseudopregnant recipients. Frozen sperm can be recovered by IVF or ICSI followed by embryo transfer surgery. We provide services for embryo resuscitation and sperm resuscitation by IVF or ICSI.
If sperm or embryos were not cryopreserved by MCRL, our importation staff can help you with the shipping. Please include a thawing protocol (sperm or embryo) and information on embryo stage at cryopreservation. It is recommended 2 vials or straws per strain are shipped to us in liquid nitrogen dry shipper.
